The gulf oil spill

So much has been said about the gulf oil spill.  Some want to blame BP.  Some want to blame individuals.  I am of the persuasion of blaming myself.  The gulf oil spill is my fault.  My need to drive my car.  To put grease on some bearings.  To fly to New York in August.  It is my desire for oil as a human being that created the need for more oil to be found.  That created the environment for a company to drill a hole in the socean a mile under the surface.  Its my fault.  Now that we know who's fault it is we can tell me what I need to do.  Maybe its time to drive a little less.  Ride the bus a little more.  Find a job closer to home.  Make the house a little smaller.  Find efficency in everything I do.  Sorry, I will try to do better..

Tea Party or not to tea party?

Not being politically motivated has put me in an interesting position on the tea party movement. I like the conservative movement that the tea party generates (not spending money we don't have) but I do not necessarily see a Biblical basis to join the movement. What do you think?
